  • Queen Street Playhouse 20 Queen Street Charleston, SC (map)

Tickets: $15

Headliner LAUREN HOPE KRASS joins us for our 4th installment of our Queen Street Comedy Series.

Lauren may have gotten her comedy start in Charleston, but she’s since moved to New York City she regularly performs comedy on some of that city’s biggest stages (Gotham, Upright Citizens Brigade), when she’s not on tour in Boston and Los Angeles. Lauren has performed alongside Janeane Garofalo, and SNL’s Sasheer Zamata and Amanda Byers and placed first recently in the 2018 She Devil Comedy Festival in NYC. Her shows have been also featured in the New York Times.

Second banana JOSEPH COKER, one of the Charleston area’s top comedians, just performed at the New South Comedy Festival in Greenville. Joseph has opened for the head writer of Tosh.O, and has been a contributing columnist to the Charleston City Paper and the Eater Blog. Locally, he hosts Mini Comedy: The Biggest Little Showcase on Earth, at the 23-seat Elliotborough Mini Bar.

Opener BRANDON RAINWATER is a Greenville-based comedian whois not afraid of the truth. The semi-proud father of two children, he gives audiences his brutally and hilarious take on parenting, different generations, and other absurdities of daily life. Brandon brings a sweet Southern flavor to his comedy that makes him hard to hate and easy to love.

Doors open at 9:30pm with show starting at 10pm following Footlight's opening night of The 1940s Radio Hour.
